Biography
Ankita Choudhary is a PhD candidate in the Department for the Study of Religion at the University of Toronto. Her dissertation draws on multi-sited ethnographic fieldwork in North India and archival research to trace the participation of Dalit and Sunni artisans in Contemporary Twelver Shia practices by exploring the intersection of caste, labour, and religious belonging.
