The opportunity to get together with other scholars and community members to discuss some of the latest research in the field or relish older classics.
This series includes Ellen Wiles’ Saffron Shadows and Salvaged Scripts: Literary Life in Myanmar under Censorship and in Transition (2015) and Gustaaf Houtman’s classic, Mental Culture in Burmese Crises Politics: Aung San Suu Kyi and the National League for Democracy (1999).
