Specialize in the Study of Religion

Prepare for graduate school or a religion-specific career path in law, medicine, social work, teaching, religious leadership, government, politics, and international relations.

Enrol Now

  • A year of World Religions (RLG100Y1 /​ RLG280Y1) or two half-courses in Introducing Religion (RLG101H1F and RLG101H1S)
  • Study of Religion (RLG 200H)
  • Gateway to a tradition (chosen from RLG 202H-209H, or 241H)
  • One course from RLG209H1, ​211H1, 212H1, or RLG213H1
  • Any other 200-level RLG course (excluding language courses)
  • 7 RLG half-courses at the 300+ level (students should develop a focus)
  • 5 other half-courses at any RLG level
  • One half-course at the 400 level in the student's area of focus
  • A capstone integrative course
