  • A year of World Religions (RLG100Y1 / RLG280Y1) or two half-courses in Introducing Religion (RLG101H1F and RLG101H1S)
  • Study of Religion (RLG 200H)
  • Gateway to a tradition (chosen from RLG 202H-209H, or 241H)
  • Four RLG half-courses at the 300+ level, one of which must be in the tradition chosen from RLG 202H-209H/241H
  • Four half-courses at any RLG level
  • A capstone integrative course

Major in Buddhist Studies*

  • Buddhist Studies gateway course (RLG 206H1)
  • 8 half-courses from a pre-approved list of courses 
  • 1 half-course at the 400 level from a pre-approved list 
  • A capstone integrative course

  • Islam gateway course (RLG 204H1)
  • One half-course from RLG209H, 211H, 212H, or 213H 
  • 7 half-courses from a pre-approved list of courses 
  • A capstone integrative course

  • Any other 200-level RLG course (excluding language courses)
  • 7 RLG half-courses at the 300+ level (students should develop a focus)
  • 5 other half-courses at any RLG level
  • One half-course at the 400 level in the student's area of focus
  • A capstone integrative course

  • 1 half-course at the 400 level from a pre-approved list 
  • A capstone integrative course
