Shanifa Nasser-Sunderji

 

Shanifa Nasser is a first-year doctoral student at the Department for the Study of Religion and currently serves as the Research Coordinator for an interdisciplinary research team in the areas of Islam and Muslim Civilizations under the direction of Dr. Shafique Virani. Her interests include Islamic mysticism, Ismaili literature and thought, the religious landscape online, and the emerging world of the digital humanities. In her spare time, she serves as a volunteer for the non-governmental organization, Focus Humanitarian Assistance.
