Rebekka King

My research examines contemporary liberal Christians in North America and their consumption of popularised theologies based upon historical Jesus scholarship. In particular, I am interested in the anthropology of Christianity, the sociology of knowledge and intellectuals, as well as the role of religion within the public sphere. My methodological approach to this study is an ethnographic one with an emphasis upon in-depth interviews and participant observation.
