Jairan Gahan

Jairan is a first year PhD candidate at CSR. She completed her MA in cultural studies in EFL University, Hyderabad, India. Her research interests include exploring new possibilities of feminism outside the liberal frame work. She plans to focus on Iran and the conflictual relation between modernism, feminism and, Islam which grew stronger after the Islamic revolution.
