Andrew Erlich graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Double Honours in Religious and Political Studies, and is currently working on his MA in Buddhist Studies at the Centre. His research interests include Tibetan Buddhist ritual and tantric practice. His work includes a collaborative project with fellow MA student Barbara Hazelton on ritual food (gtor ma) offerings, and another with Frances Garret and other graduate students on the gastrosemantics of a Tibetan medicine empowerment (sman grub) ritual.
